For mentioned car the the CARWALE's optimistic pricing is not more
than 2.5 lk.
However in actual market when it comes to selling the price is considered to
be 20% less than previous years value for 2 years and then onwards 15% for 3
years and 10% for rest of the years. This is how second hand car dealers
consider costs.
if Swift VXi (older ) was having onRoad price 5 lk in 2005 on day 1 .
then in 2006 it will never be more than 4 lk (20 % less to 5lk)
Year - Max possible Price (under the consideration that
there is not serious damage/accident of car)
2005 - 5,00,000 (day 1)
2006 - 4,00,000 - 20%
2007 - 3,20,000 - 20%
2008 - 2,72,000 -15%
2009 - 2,31,000 -15%
2010 - 1,97,000 -15%
2011 - 1,76,000 -10%
Max price may extend if tyres are changed recently or if car has
accessaries like music system (not seat covers or rubber matts etc) or new
Light assembly add-on. However this could not lead to affect more than 10k.
GOLDEN number will be another add-on e.g. MH 12 - FF - 1212 etc.
These are the realistic prices for car when it comes to resale.
