Location: Pune
Job Description:
You will be responsible for developing software modules for various
parts of the system architecture and leading a team of 6-7 software
developers. You will be expected to develop code that is portable,
performant and bug free. You are expected to understand system
architecture. You will also be leading a team of 6-7 software
developers, guiding them in areas of software development,
architecture and maintenance.
Required skills are:
Strong Java skills and object oriented design experience, design
patterns, JSP and Servlets System Architecture, designing large scale
systems
Leadership skills
Development experience in Linux/UNIX environment is required
Desired skills are experience in database design, data mining,
algorithms, MySQL, SOAP, XML, HTML and JavaScript.
Qualifications:
BS/MS/BCS/MCS/BCS/MCA in Computer Science or equivalent.
4-7 years of work experience in relevant field
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

II.Title: Software Engineer (Java/Hadoop), (2 yrs - 4 yrs)
Location: Pune, India
Job Description:
You will be working in a team environment on a full development life
cycle project for Java/Perl applications that utilize Hadoop
clustering.
Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities will include the design, development, unit
testing the applications for the development environment: Hadoop
clusters, Unix/Linux Administration, process automation, etc.
You will be contributing in enhancing/building up near real-time (low
latency) infrastructure for reporting networking statistics and making
decisions based on them.
Candidates should have significant Hadoop experience (knowledge).
In addition, he/she must be proficient in a wide-range of relational
databases, operating systems and high-availability environments
including MySQL, Unix, Linux.
Strong Shell programming experience is also required for creating
automation programs.
Required Qualifications:
Required B.Tech/BS/BE/M.Tech/MS/ME in Computer Science or equivalent
Experience in software development with Java and Perl
Experience/Understanding of Apache Hadoop and Map-Reduce architecture
Expert Unix, Linux experience
Strong Shell Scripting (Unix Shell, Perl)
Experience of working over distributed system
Solid practical knowledge of relational database technologies-MySql
(normalization, denormalization, storage engines, data partitioning,
indexes, query analysis and optimization)
Good to have skills:
Knowledge/working experience over Peer-to-Peer module
Knowledge/working experience over any No-SQL or Column-Store Database
Working experience over socket programming(exposer of XML-RPC protocol
in particular)
