Basic Function and Scope of the Position

We are seeking smart motivated programmers who can conceptualize, build, ship and support

technically challenging products. Passion for technology is a must and we expect this individual to

have familiarity with variety of languages, platforms, frameworks.

Specific Responsibilities/Functions

• Hands-on development of exciting new enterprise/consumer software solutions

• Work closely with development leaders and managers to plan releases

• Participate in the definition and design of new features and products

• Kernel mode programming including (but not limited to) writing kernel drivers, debugging,

Etc

Experience, Knowledge and Skills

• Has a solid software engineering background with strong experience in systems level

programming

• Understanding of Design Patterns, Development Processes and Best Practices

• Inspired and Inspiring Technologist

• The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with some or all of the following: Windows

services and OS hooks on both Windows & Unices, Windows Management Interface (WMI)

and system APIs for 32-/64-bit OS, Windows networking and device drivers, Windows user

interface programming (MFC, WPF, .NET), Active Directory, OS security

• Windows/UNIX/AIX/Solaris/H-PUX/Linux kernel programming (preferably file systems)

• 2+ years of systems programming experience

• 2+ years of C/C++/C# programming

• Knowledge of Compilers, linkers and loaders

• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to quickly break down and understand complex

issues

• Experience with software engineering best practices, including use of version control

systems, change and defect tracking tools, and test automation tools

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Experience dealing with new OS Version for example Windows versions such as Windows-

7, 2k8 etc

• Prior professional software development experience

• Understanding and Appreciation of User Experience Design

• Bachelors in CS or equivalent work experience

• Experience working with virtualization platforms such as VMware a plus
