Destination Wedding - 57% married respondents said they would've loved a destination wedding but only 2% actually had one. 58% engaged respondents shared the same desire, but aren't actually having one. Although 34% single people voted for destination weddings, it may be a while before their incidence rises. Expenses, plus the lengthy & intricate nature of Indian weddings, could be why. Fly me to the moon - 60.48% married Indians rated honeymoon as their best holiday ever with their spouse. A surprising 25% married respondents acknowledged fighting with their spouse on honeymoon. 95% single respondents (90% of engaged), said they would splurge far more on their honeymoon than a regular holiday.
